Shridhar Parthasarathy

Shridhar began working in the lab as an undergraduate student in 2020 and has been a full-time data scientist since graduating from The College of New Jersey with a BA in Biology in 2021. He aspires to pursue the MD/PhD pathway to a clinical and research career in the future. Within the lab, he is interested in understanding disease in ion channel-related disorders and uses computational methods to integrate across domains such as variant interpretation, protein functional changes, clinical phenotypes, and genetic features in sodium and calcium channels. He is also involved in several projects using bioinformatics approaches to relate genomic data with computational phenotypes. Outside the lab, he also likes to cook, read, and play South Indian classical music.
